 MULCH WITH MICROBLEND FOR STEEP SLOPES

Groundworks is able to offer the addition of an environmentally friendly, non toxic tackifier to help mulch stick to steep banks.  It is made of 100% natural products and will not harm the ecosystem in any way.  Using the seed injectors on our trucks the Microblend can be added at a controlled rate to the mulch as it is being applied.  A special blend of mulch that contains extra bark fines is used for this type of project.  Once the mulch is in place, it is given a light watering to "set" the Microblend.  The Microblend will then allow the water to run through the bark without washing the mulch away with it.
